Saturday Trip to the Beach

One sunny morning, we set off down the road to the beach.

Traffic was heavy for a while because we were behind a Christmas parade.

Along the way there were sights both urban ,
and rural.

There was a firehouse all decked out for Christmas,
and the local polo grounds .

The beach is part of Bellows Air Force Base,
and includes a small campground

Because of the limited access, it wasn't very crowded .
